South Western Railway Timetable Consultation Events

Prior to the beginning of our formal consultation process in Autumn 2026, we are holding several in-person events at stations along our network in June 2026. This offers customers another opportunity to feedback, as well as an accessible option for those who do not wish to, or are unable to, access the website to share their views.

At these events, you can share your thoughts in-person with members of the SWR team. This feedback will be invaluable as we begin the process of shaping an initial draft timetable.

Our services between London Waterloo and Reading / Windsor and Eton Riverside (via Richmond and Staines)

Alton and Basingstoke stopping services

Our services between London Waterloo and Alton, as well as stopping services to Basingstoke, including our London to Portsmouth via Basingstoke route

Long-distance mainline via Southampton

Our longer distance services on the mainline route between London Waterloo, Southampton, Bournemouth and Weymouth

Hampshire local services

Our coastal routes in the Portsmouth, Southampton and Bournemouth areas

Aldershot, Ascot and Farnham

Our local services between Guildford and Farnham, and Ascot and Aldershot

Portsmouth direct line

Our longer distance services on the Portsmouth Direct Line between London Waterloo and Haslemere/Portsmouth

West of England line

Our longer distance services on the West of England line (via Salisbury)
